Chanticleer, Jessica Molaskey, John Pizzarrelli, et al. Set for LA Philharmonic Holiday Concerts

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced the line-up for its Deck the Hall series of holiday concerts, to be presented at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The concert series will kick off with Handel’s Messiah (December 13 and 14), and continue with Chanticleer in A Chanticleer Christmas (December 15); Holiday Organ Spectacular, featuring David Higgs (December 16); and Holiday Sing-Along, hosted by David Prather (December 17); The Klezmtics (December 19).

The series will also include A Swingin’ Christmas with John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey (December 20); and Pink Martini, who will ring in the New Year with their spirited blend of Brazilian samba, ’30s Cuban dance, Parisian café sensibility and world-music flair (December 31).
