Nick Jonas, Christine Ebersole, and More Join Michael Urie on Opening Night of Buyer & Cellar in Los Angeles
Barbra Streisand, the subject of the solo send-up, plans to attend a performance during the L.A. run.
Jonathan Tolins' hit off-Broadway solo comedy Buyer & Cellar celebrated the opening night of its national tour at Center Theatre Group's Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 13. The play's original Drama Desk Award-winning star Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) returns to the production as the out-of-work L.A. actor, Alex More, who takes a job at the real-life, private, high-end mall that exists beneath Barbra Streisand's Malibu compound. Unfortunately, Streisand herself was not in attendance on Sunday evening, though according to a story in the L.A. Times, her publicist Dick Guttman has said she plans to attend the L.A. run.
Till then, take a look at a few photos from the star-studded opening night festivities.
