Broadway's Annie Golden Among Cast of Joe Iconis' Rock Musical The Black Suits in Los Angeles

Casting has been announced for Center Theatre Group's world premiere rock musical The Black Suits, featuring an original score by two-time Drama Desk nominee Joe Iconis (NBC's Smash) and a book by Iconis and Robert Emmett Maddock.

The cast features Broadway veteran Annie Golden (Xanadu, Orange Is the New Black), along with Jimmy Brewer, Harrison Chad (Mame), Veronica Dunne (Our Wild Hearts), Coby Getzug (Spring Awakening), and Will Roland.

The new musical follows four indomitable young musicians as they prepare to compete in the St. Anne's Battle of the Bands. John Simpkins directs the production, which is scheduled to run at the Kirk Douglas Theatre from October 27-November 24, with an official opening on November 3.
