Brendan Hines, Kevin Rahm, and Susannah Schulman will star in South Coast Repertory’s production of Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain, to be presented May 13-June 12.

The story begins in the mid-90s, as Walker and Nan Janeway gather with their childhood friend, Pip, for the reading of their father’s will, which contains a surprise. The second act takes us back to the 1960s — and reveals the story behind that surprise.

The creative team will include Thomas Buderwitz (set design), Holly Poe Durbin (costume design), Lonnie Rafael Alcaraz (lighting design), and Cricket S. Myers (sound design).

Hines, who portrays Pip and his father, Theo, is best known for his role as Eli Loker on FOX’s Lie to Me. Rahm, who portrays Walker and his father, Ned, is well known for his role as Lee McDermott in ABC’s Desperate Housewives. Schulman, who will play Nan, and her mother, Lina, has previously appeared at SCR in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
