Ashley Brown to Headline Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – A Symphonic Retelling

Ashley Brown will play the title role in the world premiere concert performance of Frank Churchill and Lee Morey’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – A Symphonic Retelling, which will be part of The Disney Symphonic Legacy, to play the Walt Disney Concert Hall at 8pm on Monday, October 20.

The evening will feature the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra led by John Mauceri, and will also include the world symphonic premieres of Danny Elfman’s The Nightmare Before Christmas – Concert Overture and Hans Zimmer’s Pirates of the Caribbean – A Symphonic Portrait, along with a suite from The Lion King.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – A Symphonic Retelling, to be directed by Jeff Lee, includes live narration and vocals, along with edits of the original orchestrations from the film’s famous songs and underscoring.

In addition to Brown, the cast features Blake Griffin (The Prince), Ruth Williamson (The Queen), Bob Bouchard (Dopey), Matt Crabtree (Bashful), Jeffrey Polk (Doc), Justin Robertson (Happy), Amir Talai (Sneezy), Rick Wasserman (Grumpy), Harrison White (Sleepy), and the Cal State Fullerton University Singers.
