Alice Eve, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Peter Weller Set for Star Trek Sequel

Peter Weller has been confirmed to play a starring role in the sequel to J.J. Abrams’ 2009 Star Trek reboot, according to EW.com.
He will join fellow stage veterans Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, who are reprising their roles as Captain James Kirk and Spock, and Alice Eve.
Weller’s Broadway credits include Summer Brave, Full Circle, and The Merchant of Venice. He last starred on the New York stage in Richard Nelson’s Frank’s Home in 2007. He is well known for his film work, which includes RoboCop and Naked Lunch.
