Aladdin Live-Action Reboot Releases "I Wish to Become a Prince" Film Clip

Disney's new live-action remake of Aladdin, hitting theaters on May 24, has released a sneak peek of the film, featuring Mena Massoud in the title role and Will Smith as the iconic Genie. Take a look as the two of them negotiate Aladdin's fateful wish to become a prince in the middle of the Arabian desert.

Aladdin, a live-action reboot of the animated feature, stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Will Smith as the Genie, and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. Tony nominee Billy Magnussen also joins as Prince Anders, a new role created for the film. Guy Ritchie directs, with a screenplay by John August.

Aladdin was originally released in 1992, featuring music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. The stage musical Aladdin opened at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20, 2014, with Jonathan Freeman reprising his original performance as Jafar. The production earned five Tony nominations, including Best Musical and Best Original Score.
