Neil Patrick Harris Has Nothing to Hide as Director of Geffen Playhouse Illusion Show

Emmy Award winner and practicing illusionist Neil Patrick Harris will direct the Geffen Playhouse‘s production of Derek DelGaudio and Helder Guimaraes’ sleight-of-hand-based show Nothing to Hide, according to published reports.
The work, which is written by DelGaudio, will open on November 27 and runs through January 6.

Described as “abandoning the antiquated notions of a traditional magic show,” it features magicians DelGaudio and Guimaraes in a series of vignettes performing various tricks and illusions.

Harris’ many stage credits include Proof, Rent, and Assassins. He is an active member of The Magic Castle in Los Angeles. In addition, he has served as a frequent host of The Tony Awards.

Harris is best known for his television performances as Barney Stimson on How I Met Your Mother and the title role on the series Doogie Howser, M.D. His many stage credits include Proof, Rent, and Assassins. In addition, he has served as a frequent host of ‘The Tony Awards.
