Pasadena Playhouse Postpones Sleepless in Seattle Musical

The musical version of the 1993 movie Sleepless in Seattle, which was scheduled to run June 12 -July 15 at The Pasadena Playhouse, will now be presented as part of the 2012-2013 season to allow for future creative development. A replacement production will be named shortly.

With a book by Jeff Arch, who wrote the film’s original story and co-wrote its screenplay, and songs by Michelle Citrin, Michael Garin and Josh Nelson, the musical will follow the arc of the movie about the romance between Annie, a Baltimore journalist, and Sam, a Seattle widower, whom she hears on a call-in radio program.
