Northport, New York's John W. Engeman Theater at Northport has announced the cast and creative for its upcoming production of Neil Simon's Plaza Suite. The comedy comprises three acts, which follow three different couples who successively occupy the same suite at the Plaza: a suburban couple who take the suite while their house is being painted, a Hollywood producer who calls a childhood sweetheart as a sexual diversion, and a mother and father desperately trying to marry off their daughter, who has locked herself in a bathroom while she should be receiving guests in the ballroom.

Patricia Zaback directs the production, featuring a cast of Broadway alums including Joan Barber (Man of La Mancha), Todd Lawson (Summer and Smoke), Gina Milo (Les Misérables), and Michael Scott (110 in the Shade).

The original Broadway production of Plaza Suite, directed by Mike Nichols, opened in 1968 at the Plymouth Theatre (now the Gerald Schoenfeld) and starred George C. Scott and Maureen Stapleton.

The creative team for Plaza Suite features scenic design by Jon Collins, costume design by Tristan Raines, lighting design by Zach Blane, sound design by Laura Frey, and hair and wig design by Jared Janas.

Performances begin May 29, in advance of a May 31 opening, and will run through July 13.
