Tim Curry, Samuel Barnett, Jamie Parker, et al. Set for UK Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead

Samuel Barnett, Tim Curry, and Jamie Parker will star in Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead, which will play London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket June 16-August 20, following a three-week run at the Chichester Festival, May 20-June 11. Trevor Nunn will direct the production.

The dark comedy centers on two secondary characters from Shakespeare’s Hamlet, imagining some of the background action that goes unseen in the tragedy.

The cast will also feature Chris Andrew Mellon (The Player King), Michael Benz (Horatio), Fiona Gillies (Gertrude), Tom Golding (Fortinbras), Charles Hamblett (Alfred), Jack Hawkins (Hamlet), Andrew Jarvis (Polonius/Ambassador), Katherine Press (Ophelia), and James Simmons (Claudius) as well as Trevor Allan Davies, Tomm Coles, Jody Elin Machin, Zac Fox, Elisabeth Hopper, Greg Last, James Northcote and Stephen Pallister.
