Andrew Buchan to Join Eddie Redmayne in Donmar’s Richard II, Michael Grandage to Direct

Andrew Buchan will play Bolingbroke in Shakespeare’s Richard II, to run December 6 – February 4 at the Donmar Warhouse, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. As previously announced, Tony Award winner Eddie Redmayne will star in the title role, while Michael Grandage will direct the production.

Shakespeare’s history play looks at the events surrounding Bolingbroke’s removal of Richard from the throne of England and assumption of the title of King Henry IV.

Buchan previously appeared at the Donmar in Arthur Miller’s The Man Who Had All the Luck. His screen credits include The Fixer and Nowhere Boy.
