West End Rock of Ages Announces Full Casting

Complete casting has been announced for the London production of Rock of Ages, which will begin performances on August 31 at the Shaftesbury Theatre in anticipation of an official opening on September 27.


The musical, with a book by Chris D’Arenzio, focuses on a young rocker hungry for his big break and a small town girl who meet in 1987 at a legendary Hollywood club facing its imminent demise. The score includes the hit songs of iconic rockers like REO Speedwagon, Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more.

The company will feature, as previously announced, Shayne Ward as Stacee Jaxx and Justin Lee Collins as Dennis Dupree, along with Amy Pemberton (Sherrie), Oliver Tompsett (Drew), Simon Lipkin (Lonny), Rohan Tickell (Hertz), Rachel McFarlane (Justice/Mother), Jodie Jacobs (Regina/Candi), Sandy Moffat (Franz), Nathan Amzi (Mayor/Ja’Keith Gill), Twinnie-Lee Moore (Waitress #1), Zizi Strallen (Reporter), Amy Thornton (Young Groupie), and Dylan Turner (Joey Primo/Sleazy Producer).

The ensemble will be comprised of Natalie Andreou, Grant Anthony, Carly Mercedes Dyer, Cordelia Farnworth, Ian McIntosh, Jamie Muscato, and Andrew Spillett .

In related news, it has been announced that Rock of Ages cast members will preview numbers for the show as part of West End Live, offering performances at 2:55pm and 3:55pm on June 18 and at 1:35pm and 3:35pm on June 19.
