London’s West End revival of Marvin Hamlisch’s 1975 musical A Chorus Line has announced that it will be closing at the London Palladium on August 31, despite plans to run through January 2014.

A Chorus Line boasts a Tony Award-winning score by the late Marvin Hamlisch as well as a Tony Award-winning book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante. The 2006 Broadway revival director Bob Avian directs the West End revival, as well.

The production is now in the midst of planning a European tour, followed by a UK tour in the fall of 2014.
