Tracie Bennett will reprise her portrayal of Judy Garland in End of the Rainbow on a U.K. tour, which will launch with an engagement at the Royal & Dengate in Northampton running August 25 – September 3, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com.

Other tour cities will include Nottingham, Cardiff, Cambridge, Brighton, Newcastle, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Cheltenham, Bath, Sheffield and Richmond.

Bennett will also perform in End of the Rainbow at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis this season, running January 28 – March 11, with a Broadway run expected shortly thereafter.

The production is designed by William Dudley, with sound by Gareth Owen, lighting by Simon Corder and musical direction by Gareth Valentine.

Set in London in 1968, the show combines humor and heartbreak to capture both the drama of Garland’s final performances in London and her controversial life off stage. Among the songs included are “The Man That Got Away,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “The Trolley Song,” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
