Hugh Hughes will bring The Wonderful World of Hugh Huges, three of his one-man shows presented in one evening, to the Pit Theatre at the Barbican, September 8-October 2, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Following its engagement in London, the show will play Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre (October 5-9), and the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival (October 12-17).

The show will consist of the writer-performer’s Floating, Story of a Rabbit and 360, along with previously unseen material. Floating explains how the Isle of Anglesey floated away from mainland Wales, drifted into the Atlantic and up to the Arctic. In Story of a Rabbit, Hughes finds his neighbor’s rabbit lying dead in his garden and puzzles over what to do. 360 tells the story of Hughes and his best friend Gareth as they climb Snowdon.

Numerous post-show events will also be held in conjunction with the The Wonderful World of Hugh Hughes, including film screenings, previews of Hughes’ new show in development, Stories from an Invisible Town, and talkbacks with the artist.
