Southwark Playhouse Announces Full Cast, Creative Team For Parade

Southwark Playhouse has announced casting for its production of Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry’s Parade, to run August 10-September 17.


Thom Sutherland will direct the production, which will feature musical staging by
Tim Jackson and musical direction by Michael Bradley. Casting will be announced in the near future.

The show centers on the true case of Leo Frank, a Jewish accountant in Georgia in the early 20th century who was accused and convicted of raping and murdering a 13-year-old employee.

The cast will feature Alastair Brookshaw (Leo Frank), Laura Pitt-Pulford (Lucille Frank),
Simon Bailey (Tom Watson), Mark Inscoe (Hugh Dorsey), and Kelly Agbowu, Jessica Bastick-Vines, Michael Cotton, Terry Doe, Natalie Green, David Haydn, Abiona Omonua, Philip Rham, Samantha Seager, Victoria Serra and, Samuel J.Weir.

The creative team will include production designer John Risebero, lighting designer Howard Hudson, and sound designer Andrew Johnson.
