Sister Act and Priscilla Queen of the Desert Extend West End Runs

The new musicals Sister Act and Priscilla Queen of the Desert have both extended their runs in London’s West End.

Sister Act, playing at the London Palladium, is based on the popular movie that starred Whoopi Goldberg and features a score by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater. The show has added ten months to its schedule, and will now play through December 18, 2010. The production stars Sheila Hancock and Patina Miller.

Priscilla, which stars Jason Donovan, has added three months to its run at the Palace Theatre. Based on the cult hit Australian film, it stars Jason Donovan and is now booking through May 22.
