Simon Callow will reprise his acclaimed performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol this holiday season as London’s Arts Theatre presents a return engagement of the solo show, running November 29-January 6 under the direction and design of Tom Cairns.

Callow, as Dickens, narrates the classic tale of miserly Scrooge’s journey as a trio of ghosts awaken him to the joy of the Christmas holiday.

The actor is a long-time Dickens veteran, having played the roles of Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and Mr. Fezziwig in productions of A Christmas Carol, as well as having starred in the one-man shows The Mystery of Charles Dickens and Dr Marigold and Mr Chops. He has played Dickens twice on the BBC series Doctor Who, and recently published a biography titled Charles Dickens and the Great Theatre of the World.
