Shakespeare’s Globe Announces Complete Globe to Globe Festival Lineup

Shakespeare’s Globe has announced the complete lineup of companies and productions that will comprise the theater’s Globe to Globe festival, to run April 23 – June 9 The event will feature 37 international companies presenting all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays in 37 different languages.

The lineup will feature Venus & Adonis (Isango Ensemble from Cape Town, South Africa), Troilus and Cressida (Ngakau Toa from New Zealand), Measure for Measure (Vakhtangov Theatre from Moscow), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Bitter Pill Productions from Kenya), Pericles (National Theater of Greece), Twelfth Night (The Company Theater from India), Richard III (National Theatre of China), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Yohangza Theatre Company from South Korea), Julius Caesar (I Termini Company from Italy), Cymbeline (The South Sudan Theatre Company), Titus Andronicus (Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio from Hong Kong), and Richard II (Ashtar Theatre from Palestine).

Also included are Othello (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), The Tempest (Dhaka Theatre from Bangladesh), Macbeth (Teatr im.
