Rufus Wright, Laura Rogers, et al. Join West End Production of The 39 Steps

A new company has begun performances in the West End production of The 39 Steps, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. The production, booking through October 22, has been directed by Maria Aitken.

The play is Patrick Barlow’s stage adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 movie of the same title and focuses on a London bachelor who must flee to Scotland and break a spy ring to prove his innocence after a woman is found murdered in his home. The company now features Rufus Wright (Hannay) and Laura Rogers (Annabel Schmidt / Pamela / Margaret), along with Dermot Canavan and Sean Kearns.
