Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful to Return to West End for 16 Performances
The stage adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful will play a 16-performance run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from September 18-29.
The production is directed and adapted for the stage by Simon Reade.The creative team includes Bill Talbot (designs) and Jason Barnes (sound). Casting will be announced at a later date.
Private Peaceful finds a young World War I soldier reliving his life as he awaits the firing squad.
Morpurgo is best known as the author of the novel War Horse.
