Matthew Bourne’s Nutctracker to Launch UK Tour in November

Tony Award winner Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker! will begin a UK tour on November 5, and play London’s Sadler’s Wells December 6-January 22, according to Whatsonstage.com.

The dance-theater piece, featuring the traditional score by Tchaikovsky, is co-devised by Martin Duncan, and features lighting design by Howard Harrison and sound design by Paul Groothius.

Bourne won Tony Awards in 1999 for his direction and choreography of Swan Lake and is currently represented on Broadway as co-director and co-director of Mary Poppins. His many other stage credits include Edward Scissorhands and Cinderella.
