Lin-Manuel Miranda Dances With Penguins in New Mary Poppins Returns Footage

Disney has released new footage from the upcoming film Mary Poppins Returns, starring Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Watch it below.

Mary Poppins Returns is directed by Rob Marshall, with a screenplay by David Magee from a story by Magee, Marshall, and John DeLuca. The film stars Blunt as the title character, with Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Pixie Davies, Joel Dawson, Nathanael Saleh, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, and Angela Lansbury in supporting roles. Dick Van Dyke, who played Bert in the original film, will also appear.

The story is described as follows: "In Depression-era London, a now-grown Jane and Michael Banks, along with Michael's three children, are visited by the enigmatic Mary Poppins following a personal loss. Through her unique magical skills, and with the aid of her friend Jack, she helps the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives." New songs are written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
