Kim Cattrall and Matthew MacFadyen will star as Amanda and Elyot in Richard Eyre’s new revival of Noel Coward’s classic 1929 comedy Private Lives, which will have a ten-week West End season at the Vaudeville Theatre, starting on February 24, following a 10-day preview at the Theatre Royal Bath.

Cattrall is best known for playing Samantha Jones in Sex in the City. Her many stage credits include Whose Life Is It Anyway?, The Cryptogram, A View From The Bridge, and Wild Honey. MacFadyen’s stage credits include Henry IV and The Pain and the Itch; he is best known for playing Mr. Darcy in the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice.

Eyre, a five-time Olivier Award winner, was artistic director of the National Theatre from 1988 to 1997. He is currently represented on stage by Mary Poppins.
