In the musical categories, Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's Spring Awakening was named Best Musical and both Aneurin Barnard and Iwan Rheon won awards for their performances in the piece. Samantha Spiro was named Best Actress for Hello Dolly, which won the award for Best Musical Revival.
Rupert Goold was named best director for his work on Enron, which will begin previews at the Broadhurst Theatre on Broadway April 8.
Katori Hall's The Mountaintop was named Best New Play, while Debbie Allen's production of A Cat on a Hot Roof was named Best Revival. Morecambe won the award for Best Entertainment.
In the performance categories, Rachel Weisz and Ruth Wilson were honored for A Streetcar Named Desire; Mark Rylance won for his turn in Jerusalem, and Eddie Redmayne earned an Olivier for his work in Red, which is now previewing on Broadway at the Golden Theatre.
Wicked won the Audience Award for Most Popular Show. Other shows that were honored included Cock, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Priory, and Burnt by the Sun.
