Imogen Stubbs to Star as Amanda in U.K. Tour of The Glass Menagerie

Stage and screen star Imogen Stubbs will play Amanda Wingfield in the Shared Experience/Salisbury Playhouse’s revival of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie, which performs in Salisbury March 4-20, prior to a UK tour. Polly Teale will direct the production.

The company will also feature Patrick Kennedy (Tom), Emma Lowndes (Laura), and Kyle Soller (Gentleman Caller). The creative team will include Naomi Dawson (production design), Colin Grenfell (lighting design), Thomas Grey (video design) and Peter Salem (original music).

After its engagement in Salisbury, the tour will play Watford Palace (March 23-27), Liverpool Playhouse (April 7-10), Cambridge Arts (April 13-17), Oxford Playhouse (April 20-24), Glasgow Citizens (April 27 – May 1), and Theatre at the Mill, Newtownabbey (May 5-8).
