Gillian Anderson, Christopher Eccleston, Toby Stephens, et al. to Star in Donmar’s A Doll’s House

Christopher Eccleston, Tara Fitzgerald, Anton Lesser, Toby Stephens, and Maggie Wells will join previously announced star Gillian Anderson in a new production of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, to play the Donmar Warehouse, May 14-July 18. The new adaptation is written by Zinnie Harris and directed by Kfir Yefet, with design by Anthony Ward and lighting by Hugh Vanstone.

Anderson’s stage credits include What the Night Is For, The Sweetest Swing in Baseball, The Philanthropist and The Vagina Monologues. She is best known as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the cult sci-fi hit The X-Files — which returns to the big screen this summer — and her other film and television credits include The Last King of Scotland, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, The House of Mirth and Playing by Heart.
