Chicago to Play West End’s Garrick Theatre

The West End production of Chicago will reopen at the Garrick Theatre on November 7. The show played its final performance at its previous home, the Cambridge Theatre, on August 27. Casting for the production will be announced shortly.

Directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking, the musical, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, centers on the trials of two women, who hope to use their infamy to catapult them to stardom.

The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
