Charlie Cox, Ian McDiarmid, Siobhan Redmond, et al. Set for The Prince of Homburg at Donmar Warehouse

Complete casting has been announced for Dennis Kelly’s new version of Heinrich von Kleist’s The Prince of Homburg, to run July 22 – September 4 at the Donmar Warehouse, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Jonathan Munby will direct the production.

The play focuses on a Prussian cavalry commander who dreams of victory, glory and fame, but whose reckless disobedience during a crucial military operations leads to an even greater battle.

As previously announced, the production will feature Charlie Cox and Ian McDiarmid. The company will also include David Burke, Sonya Cassidy, Simon Coates, Jolyon Coy, Harry Hadden-Paton, William Hoyland, Siobhan Redmond, Mark Theodore, Julian Wadham, and Lizzie Winkler.

The creative team will include designer Angela Davies, lighting designer Neil Austin, sound designer Christopher Shutt and composer Dominic Haslam.
