HighTide Festival Theatre has announced the lineup of works that will comprise its HideTide Festival, to run May 3-13 and include the European premiere of Mike Daisey’s acclaimed The Agony And The Ecstasy Steve Jobs, directed by his collaborator Jean-Michele Gregory.

The piece, currently playing at the Public Theater, is one of two offerings that represents a cross-Atlantic collaboration between the two organizations. In addition, the HideTide Festival will feature Rifle Hall Plays, which will consist of Branden Jacob-Jenkins’ Neighbours, Mona Mansour’s The Hour of Feeling, Laura Marks’ Bethany and Stella Fawn Ragsdale’s Perish, all pieces from writers in the Public’s Emerging Writers Group.

Other works in the festival will include Laura Poliakoff’s Clockwork, Ella Hickson’s Boys, Jon McLeod’s Organs of Little Apparent Importance, and Vickie Donoghue’s Mudlarks, as well as Binary, which consists of two short plays by Alexandra Wood and Ian McHugh.

The HighTide Festival will also include The Best Years of Your Life, a collection of new plays from the company Nabokov, Rahpsody in Rap or Rhapsody in Verse and There Is No Planet B from The Fire Pet; and four works-in-progress presentations.
