Felicia Finley, Graham Rowat, Nick Spangler et al. Set for KC Rep’s Saved

Casting has been announced for the Kansas City Repertory Theatre production of the musical Saved, to play the Spencer Theatre, September 10-October 3, with an opening on September 19. As previously reported, Gary Griffin will direct the production.

With music and lyrics by Michael Friedman and a book and lyrics by John Dempsey and Rinne Groff, the show is based on the MGM movie of the same name. It tells a story about a group of Christian high school students seeking acceptance and inclusion as they search for meaning in their complicated lives.

The cast will include Patrick Andrews (Roland), Izzie Baldwin (Tia), Justis Bolding (Hilary Faye), Doogin Brown (Mitch and others), Felicia Finley (Lillian), Gillian Goldberg (Cassandra), Laura Huizenga (Mary), David Hull (Dean), Emily Peterson (Lana), Graham Rowat (Pastor Mike), and Nick Spangler (Patrick).

The creative team includes Curtis Moore (orchestrations), Jasper Grant (music director, conductor/pianist), Walt Spangler (scenic designer), Megan Turek (costume designer), Jason Lyons (lighting designer), and Joshua Horvath (sound designer).
