Full Casting Announced for Tour of Jason Robert Brown's The Bridges of Madison County

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman's musical The Bridges of Madison County.
Leading the company are the previously announced Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town) and Andrew Samonsky (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) as lovers Francesca and Robert. They will be joined by Cullen R. Titmas (The Last Ship) as Bud, Mary Callanan (Mamma Mia!) as Marge, David Hess (Sweeney Todd) as Charlie, Dave Thomas Brown (The Legend of Georgia McBride) as Michael, Caitlin Houlahan (Parade) as Carolyn, and Katie Klaus, an original Broadway cast member of Bridges, as Marian/Chiara/State Fair Singer.
The ensemble comprises Cole Burden, Caitlyn Caughell, Brad Greer, Lucy Horton, Amy Linden, Trista Moldovan, Jessica Sheridan, Matt Stokes, Tom Treadwell, and Bryan Welnicki.
Based on the novel by Robert James Waller, which tells the story of an Iowa farmwife who embarks on a life-changing four-day love affair with a traveling photographer, the production features scenic design by Michael Yeargan, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Donald Holder, sound design by Jon Weston, movement by Danny Mefford, and Tony-winning orchestrations by Brown, in addition to his Tony-winning score. Bartlett Sher's original Broadway direction will be recreated by Tyne Rafaeli.
The production will kick off at the Des Moines Civic Center beginning Saturday, November 28. It will officially open on Tuesday, December 1. The next stop will be at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre, from December 8-January 16, as previously announced.
The tour will hit more than 15 cities in its first run, including Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston (January 19-31); The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas (February 23-28); Benedum Center in Pittsburgh (March 8-13); Schuster Center in Dayton (March 15-20); Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach (April 26-May 1); Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville (April 19-24); Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis (June 21-26), and The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. (June 28-July 17).
