James Black to Star in Alley Theatre’s Death of a Salesman

Alley Theatre has announced full casting for its upcoming production of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, to run September 28-October 28 on the Hubbard Stage. Artistic director Gregory Boyd will direct.
Death of a Salesman juxtaposes the American Dream with the realities of a fluctuating economy, unequal opportunities, and unfair advantages, with vivid characters and theatricality.
The cast will feature James Black (Willy Loman), Ellen Dyer (Jenny), Jeffrey Bean, James Belcher, Emily Neves, Melissa Pritchett, Jay Sullivan, Todd Waite, Drew Hirshfield, Rebekah Stevens, and Sidney Williams.
The design team will include Hugh Landwehr (set design), Judith Dolan (costume design), Pat Collins (lighting design), and Josh Schmidt (original composition and sound design).
