James Black, Charlotte Booker, Josie de Guzman, et al. Set for Alley’s Our Town

Full casting has been announced for the Alley Theatre production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, set to run October 2-November 1. Gregory Boyd will direct.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play is set in Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, a fictional New England town at the start of the 20th century. The cast will feature Jeffrey Bean as Dr. Gibbs, James Belcher as Joe Stoddard, James Black as Stage Manager, Charlotte Booker as Mrs. Webb, Elizabeth Bunch as Emily Webb, Melinda deKay as Woman Among the Dead, Josie de Guzman as Mrs. Gibbs, Chris Hutchison as Sam Craig, Charles Krohn as Professor Willard, Emily Neves as Rebecca Gibbs, Anne Quackenbush as Mrs. Soames, David Rainey as Constable Warren, Noble Shropshire as Howie Newsome, Jay Sullivan as George Gibbs, Jay Tribble as Farmer McCarty, John Tyson as Simon Stimson, and Todd Waite as Mr. Webb.

The cast will also include Ellen Dyer, Fritz Eagleton, Winch Eagleton, Adam M. Gibbs, Jennifer Gilbert, Dylan Godwin, David Heaton, Beth Hopp, Matt Hune, Ashton Lambert, Andrew Love, Santry Rush, and Jay Tribble.

The design team will include Kevin Rigdon (set), Alejo Vietti (costumes), Beverly Emmons (lighting), John Gromada (sound ), Peter Lobdell (movement director), and Michael Mertz (music director).
