Greyssan Felipe, Janet Weakly to Appear in Miami Beach Stage Door Theatre’s The Immigrant

Miami Beach Stage Door Theatre is set to present Mark Harelik’s The Immigrant, October 5-28 at the Byron Carlyle Theatre. Hugh Murphy will direct.

The Immigrant is a true story based on stories culled from playwright Mark Harelik’s grandmother’s photo album, in which a Russian Jew moves in with a Gentile family in small town Texas in 1909.

The cast will feature Jeffrey Scott Leshansky (Haskell), Michael Douglass (Milton), Janet Weakly (Ima), Greyssan Felipe (Leah).

The design team will include Stage Door Scenic (set design), Jerry Sturdefant (costume design), Anthony White (lighting design), and Nancy Clay (prop design).
