STC’s King Lear Starring Stacy Keach Extends Until July 26

The Shakespeare Theatre Company’s production of King Lear, directed by Robert Falls, has extended its run until July 26.

The production — which originated at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre in 2006 — stars Stacy Keach in the title role, along with Kim Martin-Cotten (Goneril), Kate Arrington (Regan), Laura Odeh (Cordelia), Andrew Long (Albany), Chris Genenbach (Gloucester), Aubrey Deeker (King of France), Edward Gero (Gloucester), Joaquin Torres (Edgar), Jonno Roberts (Edmund), Steve Pickering (Kent), Howard Witt (Fool), and Dieterich Gray (Oswald).

The cast will also feature Hugh Nees, Gary Neal Johnson, Conrad Feninger, David Blixt, Norman Aronovic, Stacey Cabaj, Billy Finn, Dan Istrate, Dan Lawrence, William LeDent, Matt Baxter Luceno, Brian MacDonald, Carol Randolph, Jeffrey Scott, Amanda Tudor, and Scott Hamilton Westerman.

The creative team includes Walt Spangler (sets), Ana Kuzmanic (costumes), Michael Philippi (lighting), Richard Woodbury (sound), and Rick Sordelet (fight direction).
