Marc Kudisch, Judy Kuhn, Jessica Molaskey, Tony Yazbeck, et al. Set for Signature’s Sycamore Trees

Signature Theatre will present the world premiere musical Sycamore Trees by Ricky Ian Gordon, May 18-June 13 in the MAX Theatre. The production will be directed by Tina Landau.

Gordon’s autobiographical piece is about his family’s struggles and their reliance on each other through 50 years of good and bad. Dramaturg Nina Mankin collaborated with Gordon on the book.

The work is the second part of Signature’s “American Musical Voices Project” sponsored by The Shen Family Foundation.

The cast will feature Farah Alvin, Marc Kudisch, Judy Kuhn, Jessica Molaskey, Matthew Risch, Diane Sutherland, and Tony Yazbeck.

The production will feature orchestrations by Bruce Coughlin, musical direction by Fred Lassen, set design by James Schuette, costume design by Kathleen Geldard, lighting design by Scott Zielinski, and sound design by Matt Rowe.
