Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor Mandy Patinkin will perform the theater concert, Mandy Patinkin: Dress Casual with Paul Ford on Piano, at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, MD, on June 9 and 10 at 8pm.

He will sing renditions of songs penned by beloved American lyricists — including Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter and Harry Chapin — with accompaniment by Tom Ford.

Patinkin has enjoyed an illustrious career on stage and screen, and first rose to prominence as a musical theater actor, winning a Tony Award for his role as Che in Evita on Broadway in 1979. In 1984 he received another Tony nomination for Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George. The actor recently completed an Off-Broadway run of Rinne Groff’s Compulsion at the Public Theater.
