The Studio Theatre has announced that David Ives' Venus in Fur will complete the venue's 2010-2011 season, running May 25 - July 3.

In the play, inspired by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch's notorious erotic novel, what begins as a normal audition quickly turns into a seductive game of cat and mouse.

As previously reported, the theater is currently presenting Tracy Letts' Superior Donuts (through December 12), directed by Serge Seiden, to be followed by Marcus; or The Secret of Sweet (January 12 - February 20), the final installment in Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brother/Sister Play trilogy.

Next spring, the Studio Theatre will produce The Enda Walsh Repertory, which will feature both The Walworth Farce (April 6 -24), starring Ted van Griethuysen, and The New Electric Ballroom (April 13 - May 1). Matt Torney will direct both productions.

The theater's 2ndStage season will include Young Jean Lee's Songs of the Dragons Flying to Heaven (October 6 - November 2); Jez Butterworth's Mojo (December 1-26), directed by Chris Gllu; and the musical Pop! (July 13 - August 7), which focuses on life among the denizens of Andy Warhol's infamous Factory.

In addition, the theater will present two special events, including Richard Nelson and Colin Chambers' Tynan (February 16 - March 6), starring Philip Goodwin as Kenneth Tynan; and David Cale's solo show Palomino (June 15-July 3).
