Eddie Izzard to Bring Stripped to London’s Lyric Theatre

Eddie Izzard will bring his latest show, Stripped, to London’s Lyric Theatre, November 17-December 12, after a successful 34-city American tour. The Lyric became available after the sudden cancellation of the musical Never Forget.

Izzard’s previous solo shows include Dress to Kill, which won Emmy Awards for Outstanding Individual Performance and Outstanding Writing, Live at the Ambassadors, Unrepeatable, Circle, Definite Article, Glorious, and Sexie.

Izzard received a Tony Award nomination for the Roundabout Theatre’s revival of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, and his other stage credits include Lenny and David Mamet’s The Cryptogram. His film and television credits include The Riches, Velvet Goldmine, Shadow of the Vampire, The Cat’s Meow, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, and Across the Universe.
