Ed Graczyk’s Blue Moon Dancing Has World Premiere in Dallas

The world premiere of Ed Graczyk’s Blue Moon Dancing will close the 2010 season at the Contemporary Theatre of Dallas (CTD). In this new play from the author of Come Back To The 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, a eclectic group of characters converge in the aging Blue Moon Dance Hall outside the West Texas city of McCarthy. The production will run at CTD, August 20 – September 12.

Among the other plays on the theater’s schedule for the coming year are David Lindsay-Abaire’s Rabbit Hole (October 16 – November 8), The Santaland Diaries (November 27 – December 27) by David Sedaris and Joe Mantello, Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias (April 16 – May 9), and Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs (June 11 – July 3).
