Blue Man Group, Lea Michele, Usher, et al. to Perform at February 6 Super Bowl

Blue Man Group will offer a quartet of 15-minute performances at the Super Bowl XLV Game Day Fan Plaza at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas on February 6, prior to the kick-off of the game between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The group’s appearance will mark their first appearance at the Super Bowl.

Created by Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton and Chris Wink, the Blue Man Group is comprised of a trio of performers with bald, blue heads who splatter paint and use every imaginable prop to create a unique, interactive theatrical experience. Their appearance at the Super Bowl coincides with the show’s first-ever domestic theatrical tour, currently making its way to cities around the U.S.

As previously announced,Broadway veteran and Glee star Lea Michele is scheduled to sing “America the Beautiful” before the start of the game, and Christina Aguilera will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”


In addition, according to reports, Broadway veteran and R&B star Usher will perform at half-time alongside the Black Eyed Peas.
