Robert Eli, Steven French, Christina Pumariega, Noble Shropshire Set for Hartford Stage’s The 39 Steps

Hartford Stage has announced casting for The 39 Steps, to run March 31 – May 1. Maxwell Williams will direct the production.

Adapted by Patrick Barlow, the play is a comedic take on Hitchcock’s 1935 classic thriller of the same name about a man who is forced by a mysterious woman’s death into a cross-country race for his life. The company will feature Robert Eli, Steven French, Christina Pumariega, and Noble Shropshire.

The creative team will include David M. Barber (scenic design), Thomas Charles Le Galley (costume design), Traci Klainer (lighting design) and Fitz Patton (sound design).
