Lisa Colon-Zayas, Sam Waterston, et al. Set for Have You Seen Us?

Liza Colon-Zayas, Sol Frieder, and Elaine Kussack will join previously announced star Sam Waterston in the world premiere of Athol Fugard’s Have You Seen Us? at Long Wharf Theatre, November 24 – December 30. Gordon Edelstein will direct.

Fugard’s play, set on Christmas Eve, centers on the relationship between a man (Waterston) and a waitress in a diner (Colon-Zayas) in a Southern California strip mall.

Colon-Zayas’ credits include The Little Flower of East Orange with the LAByrinth Theatre Company and Living Out at Second Stage, for which she earned a Lucille Lortel Award nomination. Frieder was seen opposite Lotte Lenya in Cabaret and has also appeared in such Broadway shows as Fiddler on the Roof and In the Counting House. Kussack’s Broadway credits include the original company of Fiddler and The Flowering Peach. Waterston received three Emmy nominations for his work in Law & Order, and won for hosting Lost Civilizations. He received a Best Actor Oscar nomination for The Killing Fields and a Tony Award nomination for Abe Lincoln in Illinois.
