Laurence, Milligan, Middendorf Set for Westport’s The Pavilion

Michael Laurence, Michael Milligan, and Tracy Middendorf will star in the Westport Country Playhouse’s production of Craig Wright’s drama The Pavilion, May 13-31, to be directed by Chad Rabinovitz.

The show is about two high school sweethearts, Peter and Kari, who reunite after 20 years. Wright’s other plays include Recent Tragic Events, Grace, and Lady, and he is well known for his work on such TV shows as Dirty Sexy Money and Six Feet Under.

The creative team includes Hugh Landwehr (sets), Laurie Churba Kohn (costumes), Clifton Taylor (lighting), and Ryan Rumery (sound).

The Westport season will continue with the musical revue Hot ‘n Cole: A Cole Porter Celebration (June 10-28), to be directed by James Naughton; David Wiltse’s comedy Scramble! (July 9-26), to be directed by Tracey Brigden; Karoline Leach’s Tryst (August 5-23), to be directed by Joe Brancato; and John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men (October 7-November 1), to be directed by Paul Newman.
