Judith Light, Katie Finneran, Mary Bacon, James Waterston to Star in Children

Emmy Award winner Judith Light and Tony Award winner Katie Finneran will co-star with James Waterston and Mary Bacon in John Tillinger’s staging of A.R. Gurney’s 1974 play Children, to play Connecticut’s Westport Country Playhouse, May 26-June 13 and the Williamstown Theatre Festival, July 1-12.

The play focuses on a man’s return to his family’s summer home. Gurney’s many other plays include The Dining Room, Sylvia, and The Cocktail Hour.

The creative team includes James Noone (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes), Rui Rita (lighting), and Scott Killian (sound). Tillinger received a Tony Award nomination for directing Loot and was last represented on Broadway by a revival of Absurd Person Singular.
