Chris Henry Coffey, John Ellison Conlee, Jenn Gambatese, Maggie Lacey Set for Westport’s Lips Together, Teeth Apart

Westport Country Playhouse has announced casting for Terrence McNally’s Lips Together, Teeth Apart, to run July 12-30. Mark Lamos will direct the production.

Set in a Fire Island beach house, the play focuses on a brother and sister and their respective spouses who have gathered to celebrate the Fourth of July and attempt to fortify themselves against their individual anxieties — and their gay neighbors partying in the houses on either side — with food, cocktails, fireworks and stinging barbs.

The company will feature Chris Henry Coffey (John Haddock), John Ellison Conlee (Sam Truman), Jenn Gambatese (Chloe Haddock), and Maggie Lacey (Sally Truman).

The creative team will include Andrew Jackness (scenic design), Candice Donnelly (costume design), Robert Wierzel (lighting design), and John Gromada (sound design).
