Bolton, Brown, Dixon, Reynolds, et al. Set for Goodspeed’s Big River

Complete casting has been announced for Goodspeed Musicals’ production of Big River, to play the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, September 26-November 30. Rob Ruggeiro will direct.

Based on Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, this Tony-winning musical has music and lyrics by Roger Miller, and a book by William Hauptman.

The production will star Will Reynolds as Huck Finn and Russell Joel Brown as Jim. The cast will also feature John Bolton (The Duke), Kenneth Cavett (Pap), Ed Dixon (The King), Nancy Johnston (Miss Watson), and Jeremy Jordan (Tom Sawyer). The ensemble also includes Daniel Kwiatkowski, David Lutken, Christine Lyons, Danny Marr, Mary Jo McConnell, Marissa McGowan, A’Lisa D. Miles, Ty Robinson, and Adam Shonkwiler. The swings will be Barbara Brown, Kanova Latrice Johnson, and Rob Morrison.

The creative team will include Michael O’Flaherty (music director), Dan DeLange (orchestrations), John MacInnis (choreographer), Michael Schweikardt (set), Alejo Vietti (costumes), and John Lasiter (lighting).
