Author Jane Green is set to speak at Westport Country Playhouse‘s “Books Worth Talking About” literary salon, August 29 at 6:30pm in the Lucille Lortel White Barn Center at Westport Country Playhouse. The event will be followed by an 8pm performance of Chad Beguelin’s world premiere comedy Harbor, directed by artistic director Mark Lamos.

Green, who has written several bestselling novels including Promises to Keep, Dune Road, Jemima J, and, most recently, Another Piece of My Heart, will discuss love, parenthood, and the new modern family, themes that are prevalent in her books as well as in Harbor.

“Books Worth Talking About” is a recently launched partnership between Westport Country Playhouse and Meryl L. Moss Media Relations, Inc. and provides an opportunity to interact with prominent authors and explore ideas and themes to enrich the theater-going experience.

The literary salon is open to anyone with a ticket for the Wednesday, August 29 performance. For more information and tickets to Harbor, click here.
